Tethered noise – mill version
A robotic object is rolling about on a big sheet of paper on the mill floor. Equipped with graphite pens and tethered by an electric cord it generates a circular drawing on the sheet, a drawing which will develop throughout the whole exhibition period. The robot’s movements will strive for noise and decay and at the same time shape the circle.
Graphite on paper, electronics. Dimensions 2.5 x 2.5 meters
The installation was exhibited as part of the second triennal at the old grain mill in Lövestad, Sweden 2013. The sounds are not part of the installation. They come from another work in the exhibition, by Bent Bøgedal Christoffersen.
